The Cobras team of 2020 were back with a bang this week with an excellent all-round display of Rugby League.
After last week we had to work on a few things in training and it paid off today.
Captain for the day was Ben Lomax who lost the toss and Latchford chose to attack first. The defense on display today by all the young cobras was a delight to see and these boys were determined to put last week behind them.
Our first half attacking display was just as entertaining to watch with 7 first half tries thanks to Ben(2),Joel(2),Luke(1),Tyler(1) and Dean (1) with the pick of the tries being a well executed move between Luke Little and Tyler Roberts who exchanged passes to send the Latchford defenders (and most of the spectators) the wrong way which allowed Tyler to run over untouched, the try was that well executed the opposition even applauded the move and said what a joy it was to watch. Another try that caught the eye in the first half was that of Ben Lomax who took on 3 defenders and then ran across the pitch to go over in the corner.

With the introduction of Joe Kohe-Love, Ravir Sidhu, Ryan Farrell and Marshall Jones all entering the field the cobras defense was again in a dominant mood not allowing the Latchford team any room to move and the line was led well in the second half by Marshall Jones. With strong running in the second half by Ryan and Ravir and the enthusiastic defending of Marshall and not forgetting the attacking ability of Joe Kohe-Love the Team of 2020 ran in a further 6 tries thanks to Luke(2),Tyler(2),Dean(1) and Joe(1) to end the match in style.
