Crosfields ARLFC

Crosfields Masters will be rolling back the years on Sunday 15th November, as they enter a tournament at Clock Face. Any Masters* wanting to participate should contact CrsofieldsARLFC@yahoo.co.uk, or turn up for training at the club for 7:00pm on Thursdays.

Captain Bob Allan will be unavailable for the tournament, as he is about to have an operation, which will aid his desire to get back to full fitness. Birth certificates will be required, as the Captain will be assigned to the oldest most mature player on the day!

The Masters Tournaments are organised by Cliff Tamou, acknowledged to be one of the top referees in the amateur game. He recently refereed the Rugby League European Shield in Heurth, Nr Cologne, where Italy beat Germany 42-30.

Crosfields new masters team have been given the honour of showing off their silky skills in front of a sell out crowd before the Warrington V’s Wigan Chellenge Cup Semi Final at the Stobart Stadium on Saturday (08/08/09)

The opportunity to have a little bit of banter with the Wigan fans may be a little too much for some of the Warrington lads to take with Crosfields 1st team coach and Masters team star Mark Hickey commenting “If I score I will run to the wigan fans and show them my A***” well all he has to do now is score, something he struggled to do in his regular playing days.

Get to the ground a little bit earlier on Sunday, I am sure the lads would appreciate the support and Hickeys back side will be a big draw for many I am sure.
